Having binged on AI coding assistants for the past several months I've come to a realization about how they have had a negative effect my psychological well being.

In the olden days, back when we simply let our kids play in the street, resizing images on your server was simple. Nowadays, as with the rising sophistication of our technology, so too has photo resizing on the server become a nightmare of complexity for developers. Let's discuss.

Why in the world would you build an entire website from scratch in the year 2024? Isn't that some insane level of over-engineering, when all you want is a blog and a few static pages? For most people, yes, but maybe we're just built different.
